More images from the fashion shoot for Boutique White Petals . As you can see , I started using a bigger format images for my blog, I just want to see my images in a bigger size so that you can see all the details and appreciate the quality of the images.
When I did this fashion shoot, I didn’t use any flash or reflector , all shot in natural light.
Actually on all the photoshoot assignments, no matter is wedding or fashion, I first select the location that with the best lighting , and then focus on how to position the model and interact with the models to get the best facial expression and balance of light in the images. This reduce my post production time tremendously, and thats one of the major reason you see me post a lot of READY TO RELEASE images pretty fast. I’m a photographer, not a photoshop junkie :)
And I also included a slideshow here for your to enjoy :) <<<<<<
Thanks for the owner/designer Danielle Gardner of Boutique White Petals hiring me to shoot their 2010 summer collections. I’m also very excited to see more non-wedding clients interested in my portrait photography work.
Their web site is coming soon .
Here are some sneak peek images of Ashley in the shoot we did last Saturday, shot with all natural light , with 1 body (Canon 5D mark II) and mostly 50mm f/1.2 ( some with 24-70mm f/2.8)
I will post more images in the next couple days including another great model Zoe !!
It has been a while since the last time I did fashion shooting, yes, it was like 6 months ago. Today, I did a fashion shoot with 3 other photographers for Image Procateur . Here are some quick sneak peek images from today’s shoot in Vallejo ! Love to do fashion once in a while to just get inspired.
Life has been busy busy busy busy….. back in April I was invited to participate in a photographers fashion shooting day in Sacramento, it was a little far from me, but it totally worth it.
As recently I upgraded my Canon 5D camera to the newest 5D mark II with video function, still testing it and getting familiar with it. The high definition video recording quality totally blew me away and not only I’m going to share some pictures I took , but I also want to share the behind the scene video just for fun with very basic video editing using Apple final cut pro.
Also thanks to Brian from Brian Gross photography took those CHUNG WORK IN ACTION pictures for me :)
